Our International Growth
STILOG I.S.T. firmly decided last year to speed up its growth outside France. Former experiences showed us that our business model proved successful in foreign countries. That is why STILOG I.S.T. created an export division in order to structure partner networks and dedicate to new markets access.

The result of this was far from deceiving.

Many new countries learned about VISUAL PLANNING and many new firms joined the very large “club” of VISUAL PLANNING users.
Customers from Nigeria, Canada, India, Indonesia, China, Morocco, Venezuela joined the already huge community of VISUAL PLANNING users, some of these customers for very large configurations. Belgium, Switzerland and Germany, already consumers, reinforced their interest for VISUAL PLANNING.
This phenomenon also brought us multinational customers, willing to manage plants, vessels, engineers,… everywhere around the world.

The result is an export income multiplied by more than 1.5 in 9 months in 2008 and an incoming 2009 sales amount nearly reaching in 3 months the one we had in 2008 !

The decision of STILOG I.S.T. is then logically to keep on investing out of French boarders, France still remaining a large provider of business.

An important decision was to create STILOG India Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (located in Bangalore), enabling us to “cover” this large and expanding country, as well as the related far and middle-east Asian markets. This subsidiary of STILOG I.S.T. is only dedicated to the distribution of VISUAL PLANNING and associated services but is not involved in the development of the solution. We might be the only French company to develop in France and sell in south-east Asia !!!

Another decision was to rely more and more on partners to create value-added VISUAL PLANNING sales centres in central Europe, Australia and Benelux.

All this goes with “languages customisations” of the software solution, so that German and English speakers would be able to use the solution in their own language and with their own calendars.

As a result, we intend to double at least our export turnover in 2009. This might be possible. This will be possible !
