POP-UP MENU: SCHEDULE VIEW

 

Pop-up menu of the heading headers

 

This menu can be found by right-clicking on the header of the heading or dimension.

  • Search: Search for a resource using the value of one of its headings,
  • Go to: Position the line over a given resource (See Go to),
  • Add: Add a new resource,
  • Existing resource filters for the corresponding dimension: See Resource filter,
  • Quick filters: activated if you clicked on the heading,
    • Automatic filters: See Automatic filter,
    • View all: used to display all the events,
  • Search the ‘Dimension’: See Free period,
  • Columns:
    • Align: Align the values of the heading,
    • Fit width: Change the width of the heading or all headings,
    • Sort: Sort headings using a specific heading,
    • Mode: used to change the display mode (tree or list),
    • Enter a common value: activated if a heading is clicked upon and used to enter the same value across all resources for the selected heading,
  • Display settings: modify the display settings for the view.

This menu can be seen by right-clicking on a resource.

  • Modify: The modification may be made using the editor (default) or a pre-configured resource editor,
  • Add: Add a new resource,
  • Duplicate: Duplicate a resource,
  • Delete: Delete the selected resource(s),
    • More tools:
      • Modify the value: in a tabular resource view, used to modify the value of the heading of any selected resources,
      • Changing calendar: used to display an hourly or daily calendar,
      • Fill free periods: for a given free period, it is possible to fill any free periods not containing events. To do this, the following screen is displayed:
        1. The time period into which the events are to be fitted,
        2. The events filters to be applied,
        3. The hierarchy to be used in the creation of the events,
        4. If the insertion of events is to be done Per free period or Per unit in the free period.
      • Add a comment: used to enter a free message that will be shown in the Comment tab in the resource editing window.
      • Geolocation: See the GPS position, the journey from one GPS position to another, calculate the location of a resource: See Geolocation.
  • Filter the selection: Used to filter the view of the selected resources,
  • Filter events: Used to filter the events for the selected resources,
  • Print: See Print,
  • Exchange/Distribute:
    • Export resources: used to launch a resource export context,
    • Import resources: Used to trigger a resource import context,
    • Send: used to send an e-mail or PDF schedule of the resource,

  • Modify: The modification may be made using the editor (default) or a pre-configured resource editor,
  • Add an event: add a new event on the schedule
  • Duplicate: Duplicate an event,
  • Delete: Delete the selected event(s),
  • Assign a resource from one dimension to an event,
  • More tools:
    • Shift: Shift an event: See Shifting,
    • Split: used to divide an event into 2. The duration of each event will depend on where the mouse is positioned,
    • Fragment: used to fragment an event : See Fragmentation
    • Repeat: used to repeat an event: See Repeating an event,
    • Schedule events: used to compact events: c.f. Compacting events
    • Automatic achievement and achievement: used to modify the achievement measurement of to modify the completion percentage for the event,
    • Geolocation: See the GPS position, the journey from one GPS position to another, calculate the location of a resource: See Geolocation.
    • Compact: used to minimize the gaps between event end and start dates: see Geolocation
  • Copy/Cut/Paste: used to copy/cut and/or paste an event,
  • Select:
    • Extend the selection horizontally/vertically: used to select events horizontally or vertically,
    • Filter the resources for the selection: used to filter resources from other dimensions used in the creation of the event,
    • Select events ‘hierarchy’: it is possible to select events of the same level, or child event, if they exist in vertical hierarchies.
  • Print: See Print,
  • Links: activated when you select a linked event

    • Respect links: used to modify the events so as to ensure that they respect the link settings,
    • Delete links: used to delete the link between events,
    • Select linked events: used to select the events linked to a selected event,
  • Exchange:
    • Export Events: Use to trigger an event export context,
    • Import events: Used to trigger an event import context,
    • Publipost: used to automatically merge the event using a created context: See VPPublipost,
    • Send mail: used to send an e-mail using a created context,
    • Send sms: used to send a SMS text using a context created: See Send SMS.

This menu can be found by right-clicking on the header of the planning.

  • Events filters: See Events filter,
  • Filters:
    • Existing resource filters for the corresponding dimension: See Resource filter,
    • View all: used to display all the events,
    • Highlight: used to highlight certain events and gray out others: See Highlight,
    • Common free period: used to show common free periods,
  • Print: See Print,
  • Header:
    • Scale: used to modify the time scale of the schedule. It is proposed depending on the selected scrolling mode:
      • For continuous scrolling, the scale can be by year, semester, quarter, month, week, day, 1/2 day, 1/3 day, 1/4 day, hour, 1/2 hour, 1/4 hour, 10 minutes or 5 minutes,
      • For day scrolling, the scale can be by hour, 1/2 hour, 1/4 hour, 10 minutes or 5 minutes,
      • For week scrolling, the scale can be by day, 1/2 day, 1/3 day, 1/4 day, hour,
      • For month scrolling, the scale can be by day, 1/2 day, 1/3 day, 1/4 day,
      • For year scrolling, the scale can be by month.
    • Scroll: used to modify the scroll method used on the planning: continuous, day, week, month or year,
    • View non working days: used to display/hide non-working days,
    • Display night hours: used to limit (or not) the Schedule view to the display limitations of a working day,
    • Display weeks: displays the week numbers on the schedule,
  • Display settings: modify the display settings for the view.
