A Dimension is an entity representing a set of resources of a specific type.

From a professional point of view, dimensions may be:

  • information resources (information and IT, etc.),

  • hardware resources (equipment, tools, buildings, rooms, etc.),

  • financial resources (budgets, etc.).

With VISUAL PLANNING, dimensions can also be:

  • tasks/assignments, projects, phases, customers,
  • absences,
  • states.

Any entity that can be scheduled is potentially a dimension and therefore a resource.
