Single Choice List heading: configuration
Creating a heading
In the Settings menu:
Click on Dimensions > Right-click on a dimension > Create Heading > Choose the type,
Click on Forms > Right-click on a form > Create Heading > Choose the type.
The corresponding part then opens:
Specify the characteristics of the heading, then confirm by clicking on the OK button.
A Single Choice List heading has the following characteristics:
If the multi-language management is activated in the Admin center, it will be possible to fill in a name for this heading in the proposed languages by clicking on the button.

A default heading value can be used to create a new resource (in the case of a resource heading) or an event (in the case of the form heading).
Select the Forbid default value button to force the user to enter data in the field and not leave the default value.
This modification affects all the resources or events that possess this value.
Deleting an element in the list
To delete an element from the choice list, select it by clicking on it, and then click on the Delete button.
This deletion does not affect resources or events that possess this value.
Sorting the elements in the list
- To automatically sort the values of the list in alphabetical order, simply click on the Sort button.
- You can also sort the list elements manually using the blue arrows:
The sorting order configured in this list is also used to sort a view according to this heading.
Update according to existing values
This functionality is particularly useful when converting a text heading into a single choice list.
Click on the Refresh button to update the choice list values with the values taken for this heading in the existing resources.
After performing a Copy in an external application, you can paste this set of character strings by clicking on the Paste button, or by pressing Ctrl + V. The values are added as new elements of the list.

Used to associate another Single choice list heading to which it will refer when choosing the value.
Used to choose the values that will be displayed when selecting the values of the association heading.
First click on the values in the Source columns, then choose the values that will be associated with it in the Target column.
To choose more than one target value, press Ctrl and click on the values.
Example 1: when you select value A, you can only choose between skill 1 and skill 2 in the list of skills.
Example 1: when you select value B, you can only choose between skill 1 and skill 3 in the list of skills.
Modifying a heading
To modify a heading you must change the schedule’s architecture template.
It is a strong act of setting which should not be carried out without reflection.
To modify a heading, select the heading in the Settings menu. The corresponding part of the window is then enabled.
Modify the characteristics (see Creating a single choice list heading), then click on the OK button.
If you do not want the modification to take effect, click on the Restore button.
For the Single choice list type, you can modify the values in a list without being the only one logged in on the schedule.
Deleting a heading
To delete a heading you must change the schedule’s architecture template.
This is an important configuration task and should not be performed without careful consideration.
Deletion of a heading is definitive.
