Valuation item: use

Adding a valuation item to an event

To enter a value in a valuation item, right click on an event > Modify or double-click on an event.

The following window appears:

poste-valo-evenement

Click on Add to select the appropriate valuation item. Now enter the values below.

Entering valuation item values

To enter a value in a valuation item, right click on an event > Modify or double-click on an event.

The following window appears:

-poste-valo-modifier-evenement

In the Valuations part, you must enter the required values in the Value column.

There are six values for each valuation item, four of which can be entered in the event.

Only the visible values can be entered. (See Creating a valuation item)

The potential values to enter are therefore as follows:

  • Time unit:
    • Day,
    • Hour,
    • Workload in hours,
    • Workload in days,
    • Of the event.
  • Fixed value (if visible),
  • Value per unit (if visible),
  • Coefficient (if visible).

The Total in the local unit is calculated automatically, as is the Total in the global unit.

The event’s Total for all valuation items is also calculated automatically.

Finally you must confirm the input by clicking on the Validate button.

Deleting an item from an event

You can delete a valuation item from an event.

To do so, right-click on an event > Modify or double-click on an event.

The event editing window will appear.

In the valuations part, Select the valuation item to delete > Click on the Delete button

Viewing

The values of the valuation items can be displayed:

  • On the labels of the events time bars,
  • In the events’ tooltips,
  • In the columns of an Events View.

Adding a coefficient according to the period type

You can assign a valuation coefficient to a type of period.

This assignment action is performed automatically according to how you position events on the schedule.

This coefficient only applies for the variable valuation, not the fixed valuation.

Recalculating a valuation item

Sub-dividing an event

When you divide one or more events and they have a valuation item whose fixed value is determined by a creation rule, the following message is displayed:

poste-valo-division

You can then choose:

  • Yes: the valuation item’s fixed value is smoothed in the new events according to their respective durations,

  • Yes to All: same thing for all divided events in a situation where several events are divided,

  • No: the valuation item’s fixed value is kept in new events according to their respective durations,

  • No to All: same thing for all divided events in a situation where several events are divided.

Modifying a resource

When you modify a Numerical type of heading of the resource, if it is used in a creation rule to define the value of a valuation item, the following message is displayed:

poste-valo-rubrique-changement

You can then choose:

  • Yes to all: this new value is combined with all the events to which the creation rule applies,

  • Yes from…: same thing from the date selected in the following message:

poste-valo-a-partir
  • No: The events are not updated.

Valuation item calculation method

To have a clearer understanding of the following section, it is best to refer to the duration of one event.

Simple situation

The event only occurs in a single type of period.

Where:

  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_total : the total value of the valuation item,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_cc : global conversion coefficient,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_cp : valuation item coefficient,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_vf : fixed value of the valuation item,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_n:
the number of types of period crossed by the event,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_de : event duration,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_vu: variable value of the valuation item by unit of time,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_ct: coefficient of the only type of period in which the event occurs.

The total value of the valuation item is then such that:

vp7_fr_bouton_valo_formule1

General situation

This calculation method applies to all situations, whether the event occurs in one or more types of periods.

Either:

  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_total : the total value of the valuation item,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_cc : global conversion coefficient,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_cp : valuation item coefficient,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_vf : fixed value of the valuation item,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_n: the number of types of period crossed by the event,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_de : event duration,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_vu: variable value of the valuation item by unit of time,
  • vp7_fr_bouton_valo_ct: coefficient of the only type of period in which the event occurs.

The total value of the valuation item is then such that:

vp7_fr_bouton_valo_formule2

Use by other functionalities

The valuations of the events will be combined and broken down in various summary tables:
