MANAGING INPUT EDITORS

 

Creating a resource editor

 

Specific resource editors can be created for the VPGO Resources List template.

To do this:

  1. Go to Settings > Configuration pane > Click on VPGO.
  2. Click on the button to the left of “Input editors”,
  3. Right-click on Resources Input Editors > Create a resource editor > Choose the appropriate dimension.

The corresponding pane opens:

Specify the characteristics of the editor (below), then click on the OK button to validate the creation.

 

Name

The Name field is required. It gives the template a name.

 

Description

The Description field is optional. It gives the template a description.

 

History

This represents the creation date and time and the most recent change to the template, together with the login of the user who performed these actions.

This characteristic cannot be edited.

 

Enabled

This button determines whether or not the template is active.

Disable the button to make the resource editor temporarily unavailable.

 

Dimension filter

Choose the filter that defines the resources to which the template applies.

 

Editable data

Choose the data to display when editing resources.

The wording that will be displayed when editing can be modified, together with the associated tooltip.

Tabs

You can add tabs in the editors and display different attributes in these tabs.

To add a tab, click on the bouton ajouter button and choose which data to display.

To assign the new tab a name, click on the bouton crayon button and rename the tab in the editing window displayed.

Caution

An attribute can only be present once in a tab.

Display in accordion style

If enabled, this button is used to display the editor according to the sections containing one or more data items to be edited and, when clicked, to open out their contents.

If you open a second section, it will unfold and the first one will retract.

Warning

To trigger the display in accordion style, you must add separators in the data to be edited.

To implement it starting from the first line, you must add the separator in the first position in the data to be edited.

Creating an events editor

 

Specific events editors can be created for the VPGO Events List template and the Diary template.

To do this:

  1. Go to Settings > Configuration pane > Click on VPGO.
  2. Click on the button to the left of “Input editors”,
  3. Right-click on Events Input Editors > Create an events editor:

The corresponding pane opens:

Specify the characteristics of the editor (below), then click on the OK button to validate the creation.

Tip

To be able to edit a resource of a given dimension in an event, the identification headings of Dimension type must be displayed in the list of available entities.

You can display the information contained (event data, form headings, valuations) in a parent event if the event edited is a child event.
