VISUAL PLANNING 5.3 DOCUMENTATION

Export Resources

DEFINITION

This functionality allows to export a group of resources of a dimension from a VISUAL PLANNING planner to an external destination.

A resources export can be done to:

  • create a planner that will have the same resources
  • reprocess datas from VISUAL PLANNING to another software by exporting the datas into a correct format.

A resources export is done into a unique destination that may be :

  • A *.CSV file
  • A *.XLS or *.XLSX sheet (or a tab)
  • A database table :
    • MYSQL,
    • ORACLE,
    • SQLSERVER,

There are two types of export :

  • Simple Insertion of new entries,
  • Simple Update of existing entries.
