Print an event

DEFINITION

The feature can print the contents of a single event in a table.

This impression is available in a:

It comes in two parts:

  • The top part is a table containing the headings of one resource of the event,
  • The lower part is a table containing the characteristics of the event and other resources thereof.

It is a good alternative to print a view and to print a ressource.

You can print on paper, or produce a *.PDF file.

SETTINGS

For optimal use of printing, it is advisable to save print settings in a favorite display.

Preview

To watch a preview, it is necessary to display a view. (schedule view, events view or diary view)

Then you have to Right click on an event > Print > Preview

The next window appears for editing the print settings:

It is necessary to define the characteristics of this prints, and click OK to start the preview.

These characteristics are:

Heading

We must choose the headings of the resource to be displayed on the print.

Period

It is the period of data printing.

Event Filter

You have to choose or set the filter of events to be print.

Adjusting

It permits to adjust the print to the page, the height, the width.

The height of rows is adjusted to the maximum height of the existing rows.

Only table mode allows adjustment. This concerns:

  • Event view, Table mode
  • Resource view, Table mode
  • Event report view, Table mode

It permits to define the page footer of the print:

The following buttons allow to define predefined informations:

  • : Page number
  • : Number of pages
  • : Date of printing
  • : Time of printing
  • : Name of the planner
  • : Name of the view
  • : Name of the user
  • : Name of the group

It is also possible to directly fill a specific text by entering directly into the desired zone

It permits to define the page header of the print:

Page setting

It allows to reach the page setting.

The following window appears where you can define the default page setting.

In this window, you specify the characteristics of the layout.

This definition of the page settings can be saved as a favorite display.

Then, click on OK to confirm.

Check this box allows to display the logo at the top left in the print result.

The logo is an image file that can be displayed in the print result.

This image is unique for all the planning.

Click on […] to browse the folders and select an image file.

It is possible to use an events input editor to print the event.

If you want to print the default editor, you have to let the field blank.

Click on ok.

The preview appears :

It is possible to :

  • To launch the printout
  • To zoom in
  • To zoom out
  • To quit

USE

Launch a printout

To start printing an event on a sheet of paper, you must right-click on the event > Print

The following windows appears:

You can change the print settings if necessary. (cf. Preview)

You must then click on OK.

The window for selecting the printer settings will appear:

It should then click on OK.

The print is then launched.

Create a PDF file

To start printing a resource on a *.PDF file, you must right-click on the event > PDF

The following window appears:

You can change the print settings if necessary. (cf. Preview)

You must then click on OK.

Then simply select the directory where to save the *.PDF, with the following window:

Finally, you should click Save

The creation of the *.PDF file is then launched.
